Underwhelming, armrest material splitting

Was somewhat cheap when on sale 3 years ago.

Backrest was not symmetrical, there was a slight angle to the back rest. Contacted CC and they denied offering exchange or any help. Contacted AkRacing directly and they sent a new backrest. Now not even 3 years later both arm rests are peeling and splitting. Contacted Akracing again and they state Canada computer sold chairs are not covered by the 5 year warranty. What a joke.

Canada computer sold Akracing chairs only have 1 year warranty. The product quality is underwhelming and not durable at all. Get yourself a Secretlabs chair if you're adamant on a gaming chair. Better bet is to buy a proper office ergonomic chair.

Worth it, best price, great customer service

I've had the chair for 2 years now, no issues, no stains, minor scratches from wear and tear. Leather keeps it's shape and no rips. Quality is good.

Wish the chair would go higher and can take the handles off but definitely not a complain, there was a question about weaknesses so I just thought of what i would have preferred.

Everything is great, good bang for the buck. Worth it for sitting a lot time. no aches from body.

This chair is great easy to put together feels great when you sit in it my other chair lost all its support after 7 years we will see how this one does

Split armrest leaves you hanging...

Seat itself is comfortable. Has acceptable range of settings.

Rollers on legs have some weak zones. Armrest splits (where the foam meets the plastic) after some regular use. AKRacing's 5 year warranty is not valid when purchased here, so you are downgraded to the Canada Computer 1 year warranty.

Initially the product was fine, but the after-sales service is very disappointing.

Great Gaming/Office Chair

This unit exudes quality construction, on par with Dxracer imo. Stitching uniform, upholstery properly aligned and symmetrical. Looks stunning and performs well. Got a great deal on Black Friday as it was on sale but not advertised in the flyer. The recline feature is nice just to relax after a long session .

The instructions for assembly are minimal but if you are mechanical inclined it really is not a problem. KEY to assembly is not to tighten any screw fully until you have all screws for each part started to leave wiggle room for alignment. Was able to assemble in about 15 minutes. It has minimal protection in the shipping container so inspect box for any signs of damage or your unit may be affected. Luckily I got one that was in pristine condition from the store and the sales associate even wheeled it to my car and loaded it. It wasn't till I unloaded it that I found out it was heavy which reflects the quality of the components used in its construction.

Great chair especially at that price point. Cc offered it for the best price as I have been searching everywhere for a quality unit at a fair price. One thing to note: go online to review dimensions of the chair for each model to ensure it suits your body frame. If the chair is not sized properly, you will not be comfortable. To be honest, it is so good for the price I paid, I may purchase another one. If you can get one while they are discounted, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

- Sale Price $320 + Ontario Tax = $360 - Sturdy construction - different colors (depends on the retailer you are buying from) - Lower back and head/neck pillow included - reclines all the way to 180 degrees - adjustable arm rest - 5 wheel base to move the chair to other places - firm foam, you won't sink in

- firm foam, if you prefer something where you sink in this is not the chair for you - instructions were not too clear which made certain parts of the setup confusing - replacement parts are locked to the European and Australian zones I believe, the chair is from a European manufacturing firm (check their website for more details on the chair and colors) - the screws mounting the pieces together could have better sockets where the screws are supposed to go in, they go straight through the leather parts which made it look cheap, but are completely hidden once you have the chair completed and sitting on it - no instructions for mounting the lower back pillow

The chair is great quality overall for the price tag. I do not recommend the chair if it went above what I paid or over 400 dollars with tax, but if there is a sale this is definitely a good chair if you're looking for a budget gaming chair to sit in for extended hours. I am 173 cm tall but the chair should still easily support someone a little over 6 feet, possibly up to 6'3 I think.
