The signal is much stronger than before and more reliable. Multiple users have good reception even during busy periods where before they would have suffered loss of signal or slow speeds. The ax 2.4Ghz speed is much faster and stable. If you can use the WPS button on your router setup is quick and easy just make sure you press Router WPS button first then the extenders WPS button.

Using default settings it will combine the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz signal into 1 that both can connect to, had to contact support to split the signal into both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz signals by disabling smart connect.

I have 2 bars of 3 on the signal indicator giving stable WiFi 6 speeds. Did not use as access point and router is not mesh compatible so only used as extender. D-Link Wi-Fi App allows management from your smart phone and and Web browser management is also easy to use.
